FAQ

Buyer Questions — Solar Vertical

Are all solar leads homeowners?
Yes. Homeownership is a hard requirement in our solar qualification flow — renters are filtered out before the lead is created. The homeowner field in the payload will always be true for any lead you receive.
What is the minimum monthly electric bill you qualify?
Our default minimum is $150/month, which we find represents a practical payback period for most Florida solar installations. You can request a higher minimum (e.g. $200+) at onboarding.
Are TCPA requirements different for solar leads?
TCPA compliance requirements are the same as any consumer-facing vertical — express written consent, logged with timestamp and consent language. Solar leads additionally include the specific page URL where the consumer submitted their information, which is useful documentation for any FCC inquiry.
Can I filter by utility provider?
Yes. Leads include a self-reported utility_provider field. You can filter for specific utilities (FPL, Duke Energy, Tampa Electric, JEA, etc.) at the campaign level if your financing or equipment programs are utility-specific.
Do leads include roof type and age?
Yes. Our qualification form captures self-reported roof type (shingle, tile, metal, flat) and approximate roof age. This lets you filter out leads with roofs likely to require replacement before installation.
What is your average close rate for solar leads?
We do not publish close rate data as it varies significantly by installer, pricing, financing options, and sales process. Most buyers in our network run their own attribution. We recommend a 30-day test period at modest volume to benchmark before scaling.
Are leads exclusive?
Yes — one lead, one buyer. The first buyer to accept in the real-time auction wins the lead exclusively. You will never compete against another buyer from our network for the same lead.
How quickly are leads delivered after the consumer submits?
Ping-tree delivery is real-time — typically under 3 seconds from submission to webhook delivery. Our SLA is 10 seconds. Leads that receive no accept bid within 60 seconds are held and rerun in the next auction cycle.
