Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: May 3, 2026How we are paid
Dreamy Leads operates as both a publisher and a TCPA-compliant lead distribution network. We earn revenue when:
- A consumer voluntarily submits a quote request on Dreamy Leads, providing express written consent to be contacted (see TCPA and consent below).
- That request is offered, in real time, to participating buyers — licensed providers (lenders, carriers, installers, debt-relief firms) whose filter criteria match the consumer's profile.
- One or more matched buyers accept the request ("post" the lead) and pay Dreamy Leads a per-lead fee for the match.
The matching mechanism is called a ping tree, documented in detail at /how-it-works/ping-tree-explained. Some leads are sold exclusive (one buyer per request); some are sold shared, with a strict cap on the number of buyers permitted to receive the request.
We may also earn revenue through traditional affiliate links — for example, when a reader clicks through from an editorial page to a provider's own application page and completes a qualifying action. Affiliate links use rel="sponsored nofollow" markup. We do not receive payment for editorial mentions that do not include an affiliate link or a quote-request form.
What compensation does and does not affect
Compensation does affect:
- Which providers respond first to a specific consumer's quote request. The ping-tree bid mechanism determines, in real time, which matched buyer wins a given lead based on bid, filter match, and exclusivity rules.
- Whether a provider has a "quote request" call-to-action on a comparison page. A provider must participate in our network for us to be able to route a real-time quote request to them. Providers that do not participate are still listed and ranked on comparison pages where they qualify, but the call-to-action for those providers links out to the provider's own contact page rather than to a Dreamy Leads quote-request form.
Compensation does not affect:
- Editorial coverage. The decision to write about a provider, product, or topic is made by the editorial team independently of network participation.
- Comparison rankings. Rankings (for example, "Best mortgage lenders in Phoenix") are produced under our published methodology using publicly verifiable inputs. The bid stack is not an input to any ranking.
- Ratings or scores assigned to a provider in editorial content.
- The price you pay. Provider payment to Dreamy Leads is a network fee paid by the provider; it does not appear on the consumer's quote and does not change the consumer's terms.
Editorial vs. lead-network systems
Dreamy Leads runs two systems that share a brand but operate independently. We document the boundary in detail in our editorial standards:
- Editorial system — produces vertical hubs, state guides, city pages, comparisons, glossary, and original research. Cannot see the lead-network bid stack.
- Lead distribution network — routes consumer-submitted quote requests to participating buyers via the ping tree. Cannot edit articles or affect rankings.
Where a provider mentioned in editorial content also participates in the lead network, the article body or call-to-action discloses the relationship.
TCPA and consent
Phone calls, text messages, and prerecorded contacts sent in response to a consumer's quote request are governed by the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. § 227). Before any participating provider may contact you in response to a Dreamy Leads quote request:
- You must affirmatively provide express written consent at the form-submit step.
- The consent language identifies the seller, discloses the purpose of contact, and confirms that consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Your consent is captured with a timestamp, IP address, user-agent, and the exact consent language at the time of submission, and is retained as required by law.
Full TCPA-compliance documentation: /how-it-works/tcpa-compliance.
You may revoke consent at any time. To stop receiving calls or texts from a specific provider, follow the opt-out instructions provided by that provider directly. To stop having Dreamy Leads route any future quote requests on your behalf, contact Dreamy@dreamyleads.com with subject line "Opt-out."
Cost to the consumer
Use of Dreamy Leads — reading articles, comparing providers, requesting quotes — is free to consumers. Provider compensation to Dreamy Leads is a network fee paid by the provider; it does not appear on the consumer's quote, does not change the consumer's terms, and does not increase any rate, premium, fee, or price the consumer pays.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is provided to comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 C.F.R. Part 255) and related FTC guidance on disclosing material connections in online endorsements and recommendations. Where editorial content references a provider that participates in the Dreamy Leads lead network, that relationship is disclosed in the article body or call-to-action in addition to this site-wide page.
Per FTC guidance, the relationship between Dreamy Leads and any provider mentioned on the site is a "material connection" that we disclose proactively. We do not receive editorial direction, copy approval, or input on rankings from any provider. Provider participation in the lead network is open to any licensed firm in covered verticals that meets our compliance standards; participation does not earn editorial coverage.
Opting out and corrections
To opt out of having Dreamy Leads route any future quote requests on your behalf, email Dreamy@dreamyleads.com with subject line "Opt-out" and the contact information you previously submitted. We will confirm and remove your contact details from any active routing within 10 business days.
To request a correction to this disclosure or to flag a missing relationship disclosure on an editorial page, email Dreamy@dreamyleads.com with subject line "Disclosure correction."
